The City Point Neighborhood Association Mission

To promote and foster participation in the civic life of the City Point neighborhood in South Boston.

 

We strive to enhance and strengthen the community through neighborhood activities and other programs which serve the needs and interests of Association members and neighborhood residents.

 

How We Do It

• Encourage and facilitate informed citizen participation in issues affecting our neighborhood

• Act as a liaison with governmental bodies and with institutions, schools, and businesses in and around the neighborhood

• Advocate for maintenance and improvement of institutions and facilities serving the neighborhood

• Provide generally for the welfare of the neighborhood and the South Boston community of which it is a part
